I still believe in beating kids...

When it's time to discipline the kids, you just have to do it.

小孩子都是不懂事的。不懂事，就要教。好言相劝，不要听，刷性子、搞固执，就要体罚。到现在我是相信这些的，只要恰当，我觉得没有不对。Of course don't go overboard, to the extent where the kids got abused and lived in fear...how to prevent that? For a start, don't do it often I supposed.

I scold my brothers' daughters at times, at most I threaten to beat them if they don't listen, sometimes they are just so stubborn that you either give up, or you lift the cane and whack once, or twice. So far, I've done it twice. Today I hit the youngest one. She's getting stubborn, just like her elder sister. But the elder one is more sensible now, and getting smarter, so when we discipline the young one, she knows how to avoid making the same mistake again. Of course, she has her naughty times too...

The little one was playing with some stickers with her name on it, and the maid was "niam-ing" her, telling her that her mum bought it for her, and she herself wanted it as well, so should not play like that and waste the sticker etc... When I heard it I was a bit pissed already. "真不懂得珍惜！" That's what I thought to myself.

Next, she refused to eat. She has the habit of "siam-ing" and play a fool when the maid was feeding her. We can see when she really has no appetite, her mood would be bad, and she would be begging the maid that she does not want to eat anymore. But this time, she is just playing a fool. The spoon was going towards her and she backed off, all the way till she lie down on the floor. She just lie down and refused to get up. That is when I got real angry with her. We asked her to sit upright and eat her food, she refused to budge. I threatened her that I am going to bring down the cane, she totally ignores me and continue watching the TV...guai lan kid...I took the cane and hit the sofa, she's not afraid. I went in front of her with the cane asking her to sit up again and she still ignored my warning.

忍无可忍。

The cane went down to her butt, and as I hit, I scolded her.

After 3 seconds, she cried. I carried her to sit upright, now she is willing to sit down and eat her food.

When I went back to my room, she came in. Trying to get near me liao... -_-|||

I think I will discipline my kids this way too. If school teachers want to punish them for their mistakes I will say, "Go ahead!", unlike some parents who instead wrote in to complain about the teachers.

Sigh. Kids nowadays.

Long time no see!!

Hey all! Long time no updates!

Haha...not that nothing happened, just that so many things happened that I do not have time to blog...

Super tight schedule, my uncle's passing, meeting up with friends and family etc...lazy to blog etc, watch drama, TV, movies etc...haha..

Actually, there are many times when I have the urge to blog about something, but I'm always outside when I have things to say...perhaps next time I should carry a note book with me, so that I can jot down my thoughts and feelings at that moment, so that I can blog afterwards. Many of those thoughts have been forgotten, so as I am blogging this, I don't know what should I blog about...LOL

After a few months of not-so-good destinations, I am finally going to new places in August...hee...

Not to mention my August holiday to Ireland with Keelee. After that I am also going to Sydney and Manchester! The Manchester one is interesting, I will be going to London first as a normal passenger, then transit in Heathrow to Manchester, via British Airways...a few days later back to Singapore via Manchester...woohoo!

Of course, I will also be trained..to work in a more atas environment...
And I have also enrolled myself in a one-day Elementary Korean course sponsored by the company..haha...it's going to be an eventful, busy and perhaps stressful August..

I just came back from Beijing and realised it is quite a cool place, as in the "city hall" area is actually quite amazing, and I didn't know it is so near to the hotel!

This place is very cool...the screen on the rooftop is super huge, and I think they should broadcast some movies there, people can lie down on the floor and watch..LOL!





The famous recycled bag brand Freitag in Switzerland...the bags looked dirty and all, but they are made of 100% recycled materials and can cost SGD$100+ and above ok!
The toiletries bag has the same name as my baby niece! Cheyenne!



I had Spring Chicken pasta at the hotel, and I have the privilege of having a feathered chicken wing...my colleagues all laughed at me...haha...

Anyway, I realised India has very lame/funny slogans on the roads that remind drivers not to use handphones while driving, and to practise safe driving etc...they came out with things like:

"Lane driving is sane driving."
"No mobile while mobile."

Can see that they really love playing with words...there are more...but I forgot to note them down..so I forgot the rest...shall observe more next time..LOL...
