Slack slack slack!!!

I'm supposed to be working on my ISM and yet here I am...slacking...LOL

Slacked the whole of Saturday...

Went to St Nicks to visit the old school before it closes for renovation, or rather, redevelopment...took some kind of fun fair ride and one ride cost $10!!! Damn ex rite? Luckily half of the coupons were free (we had $80 worth), and we spent the coupons in like less than 2hours or so...cos the things and food were SUPER ex..

From what I had heard, "The orange bowl", as we liked to call it, which is actually many SN girls' favourite Ba Chor Mee stall, costs $5 per bowl! Oh man, we can go back to school another day and eat at least 3 big bowls with that price...

Anyway, we went AMK Hub to eat lunch, cos Ms Teo Ailing needed to leave after lunch to rush out her reports and other work...poor girl...

So after lunch, all of us headed down to PS! For movie marathon! wahaha...2 movies in a day! And each tix only costs $7.50, due to HSBC's offer.. (check out GV website if you are interested, lazy to advertise too much for them here..haha!)

Watched "Vantage Point" and 《第一诫》...Vantage Point is not bad, haha I shall not describe the show since many of you haven't watched. But it's really not bad...some parts are quite funny also...
Same for 《第一诫》...aiyo, was damn scared at first and I tried to listen to Kee Lee's advice, to cover my ears to block out the super loud and scary sound effects if I'm scared, but after some time, my hands really got very tired...so I decided to let my hands down and watched, somehow after some time when you know what's going on, you won't feel so scared anymore...the ghosts appear in the same manner...haha..BOOM! But the plot is not bad...got storyline wan...Fiona Xie didn't 卖弄性感 in the show also, her performance is not bad lah..but she always appear in the same 场景，which is her house, never go anywhere else wan..quite poor thing..haha...

Ok la! Enough of slacking...back to my ISM... *sianz*

Ramblings..

Went for The Body Shop Sale at Suntec today...wah kao...damn damn crowded!!!

It was the first day of sale, and in an hour's time the place would be closed...and the number of people just increase non-stop...I was telling June, Emelia and Yiing Yng that it looked like people are snatching for food rations during war time...and how blessed we are, snatching for wants instead of necessities when other people in the world don't even have necessities to snatch for!

叹为观止...I can only describe the scene this way...OVER...really OVER...lol...




It's quite dark...but u can see that there are really many people around...machiam CNY Chinatown that kinda squeezy scene...动弹不得!!!



4 of us shopping! Finally queuing to pay...queuing alone took us slightly more than 1.5hrs...scary??? If we had known the situation is lidat, we probably wont go for it liao... :S

My Chinese conversational class' students! Got pretty girls and cute boys! haha..don't think I will ever be a teacher..I don't know what to do when there's 冷场...haha...

Went to Chinese Heritage Museum at Chinatown ytd with the Overseas Chinese class...then went over to Teochew Huay Kuan...so cool...uni student liao still got excursion...we were very excited! even took pics with one another! :D
It's really a memorable honours year...especially this semester...very fun and happening... :)
Should have look out for qinghui in the bus on our way back to sch..aiya..sorry ah qinghui...made u sit alone, and me...hahaha...we noe la hor? haha! hope when I was sleeping he never do anything funny..不知道我身上有没有什么'异物'....wahaha!!! 我现在才想到!haha...so bad of me..haha...

Anyway regarding my ISM, aka 'thesis'...hmm..I finally knew what my teacher wants...so will try my best to write what he wants...but need to rewrite some main parts lor..haiz...hope I can do a much better job this time...must focus liao!!! :D

I'm back...for a while...

That was last week. The most happening day. Remaining of the week is still study, teach, study and teach..and finally the teaching ended! Took pics with some of the kids, but I forgot to upload.. will post it sometime later when I need to take a break from school work..

I was damn sad last night..I've spent 2 weeks on the thesis..and it only took him 45min to sort of 否定 what I had written...挫败感挺大的...but thanks to some friends' encouragement...you all are right...guess I can only 化悲愤为力量，好好地重新将论文写过。但也希望不是真的要重头来啦，只有两个星期的时间剩了！！But I should be thankful that they have extended the deadline..if not I would really be dead before the line...

这几天都在忙，上课、授课、打磕睡……eh 错了，是做研究……hehe...

现在本人正在国大图书馆搜查有关于“新谣”的资料。找越多，头越大。更“糟”（也不清楚是好是坏）的是，经过梁文福老师的介绍和提醒，我还找到了一位前南大生所写的“新谣”毕业论文。

昨晚终于“敢敢”地去找梁文福老师，并与他作了个正面的访谈……

非常感谢凯琳（不知道有没有打错 :P）陪了我一趟，要不然我想我会紧张个100000000倍，哈哈！

他的人很健谈，我想是因为他知道我要什么样的答案吧，哈哈！然后他对我说，前几年已有学生作过这方面的研究了，所以我和她的论文会有很多重叠的地方……

现在看到她的论文（还在阅读的过程），我真的是“闲”一半……除了措辞的不同外（她用的是“身份认同”，而我用的是“自我定位”），基本上我要讨论的东西，她好像都讨论过了。害我白高兴一场，还以为自己是这方面研究的“先锋”咧……失望咧……（肤浅）

不过说真的啦，的确是有失望的感觉，因为我们的论点实在是太相似了，现在我还得绞尽脑汁想不同的论点来推翻，或是建构在其论文之上，不然，这个论文作了也没有意义。完全相同的话，我干脆copy and paste她的论文再交上去，省时又省力。更何况，梁老师要我寄一份成品给他，这无形中造成了我必须把论文写好的压力啊。

New mattress and chair!!! :D

Last week I was complaining to my parents about my back problem. Must be lack of exercise and the old mattress, which was quite soft and bouncy..

My Mum helped me pasted 2 pieces of 'goh yo por' (medicated patch) at my back and it was much better, but it still hurts sometimes...haiz, old liao ah...back ailments at this age...cui...

So I told my parents that I'm going to buy a new mattress once I get my pay after I start working, and the next day they were choosing a mattress for me! Plus a chair (I forgot what it's called, revolving chair? Sounds weird...) because it has been spoilt for quite some time. I adjusted it to the highest position and it can no longer be lowered...so imagine how much I have to bend my body when I'm using my laptop at my table.. :S

I felt quite bad cos my parents still have to pay the 2 items for me, and I felt super touched cos they actually took the initiative to buy it for me! Ok perhaps I should not sound so surprised, they are my parents afterall, so buying things for their children is very normal. But I'm 23 liao! By right, I should give them money and give them a good life, instead of them having to provide for me. Although I still can use the excuse that I'm schooling, I still feel very paiseh, and grateful..it's $300 leh..
So, I'm very happy now!!! :D

Aiyo, my youngest niece finally willing to call me gu gu (auntie), and she can call me like don't know how many times in 1 minute. :D

BUT, OMG...she calls me TU TU (baby language for pacifier) instead of GU GU...and she happily calls me TU TU as and when she likes it, by shouting somemore... -_-|||

GU GU, TU TU, 傻傻分不清楚……she really 傻傻分不清楚啊....LOL
