Greener pasture on the other side??

Once my colleague told us before...

Why do you think the pasture is greener on the other side?

Some of us thought it's because of human psychology, some don't know, etc...

He answered:" Because the other side has more shit lah! Fertilise the grass that's why the pasture is greener what.."

Haha..quite true...sometimes from our side we thought that other people are better, their jobs are better etc...but who knows? Maybe they have more shit work to handle?

:P

So what's next?

Recently many things happened to me...

Makes me very tired...

and yet I have to put on my mask everytime I put on my uniform...no wonder some instructors say many actresses/actors were former "colleagues"...can act very well...maybe soon I'll be a 变脸大师 even...

Anyway...regarding Dubai...aiyo it was SUPER hot...40+ degrees vs 30+ degrees at night...my colleagues brought me out to buy their local snacks and we all had dinner before going back hotel to rest...

Had a gathering at one of the colleagues' room and we played Dai Dee, a few rounds and sian already..and we had beer also..I sounded like a bad girl hor? I drank one can of Heineken...then we all chit chatted..about all kinds of things, about life/work experiences...all the way till Spore time 6am before we went back our own rooms to sleep..I was the only one who stayed at a different level with the rest...the "manager" also but he's the most senior of course different...then me being the most junior I got the lowest floor...LOL...

Luckily everything was fine...just that when I ate lunch in the room halfway, wanting to watch TV, so I meddled with the remote, but the TV channel's don't work...then after a while the TV switched on itself...but the channels were blurred...crazy TV...anyway, it was broad daylight...I opened the curtains wan...so don't think too much..some TVs are quite auto wan... :)

so I stayed in my room, watching TV the whole time, slept, wrote my diary and went to sleep before I prepare myself to go work again....






The food we had at a Dubai restaurant..shiok..the mutton curry and chicken...I love their Naan (which means bread)... each person ard S$14 ba...reasonable.. :)

And the view from my hotel room...they seem to be having construction everywhere...so nothing much lor...but it's really HOT HOT HOT...

Some thoughts recently

Changed my song profile...my current favourite song...石欣卉's 《我知道我变漂亮了》..the show 《一切完美》 was nice, and the song is also good, I like the lyrics...written by 石欣卉 herself.

I'm going to Dubai tomorrow! Coming back on Thursday morning 9am...means a night flight for me again...shag but also good, that means people will be sleeping...hiaks...

Seriously, currently at the initial stage, the job is tiring...and transition from a student to a working adult is kind of a drastic change, especially having to cope with the job...cos this job is kinda...special...
Sometimes I will even think, why did I want to try for this job in the first place...haha...the whole thing seems to have no link to my character at all...and that also explains the surprised faces when everyone knows that I'm into it...LOL...

Well, I think I really need time to adapt to all the changes, from a student to a working adult, irregular working hours, irregular working days, tons of DIFFERENT people I see everytime including colleagues...drastic change is the NORM for this job...I guess everyone who just got in also took quite some time to adapt ba...

I heard some people cry cos they kena scolded badly for the first day at work, some cried cos they cannot stand the loneliness overseas, all sorts...so far, I'm ok...still praying hard for myself though...haha...

I'm still blur and slow...TRYING hard to be steady...and I really must exercise lots!!! No strength to carry trays and pulling carts! Amazing!! LOL..

Oh...but...I don't really feel that excited having to go overseas leh...jialat..instead I feel very happy when I touched down in Spore...cos it's home sweet home! Maybe as what I've mentioned earlier, I need more time to adapt..and this job actually makes me realised that I missed my loved ones very much..and I should treasure having them around me even more...even my parents, I can feel that I talk to them a lot more nowadays, and they are seizing every moment to communicate with me when I'm home...not as if we aren't close before...but we are even closer now... :)

And it also made me miss someone even more too...i hope it's the same the other way round... :)

I'm off on coming Friday (22 Aug), Sunday (24 Aug), 30 Aug (Saturday evening cos I come back from Paris in the morning, I need to slp..hee), 31 Aug & 01 Sep (Sunday and Monday), 04 Sep (Thursday), 06 Sep (Saturday)...so far that's all I have... :)

Shanghai and Adelaide trips

Hey friends, I'm back!

MIA too long le...not free and kinda lazy to blog...hee...I don't even have time to read friends' blogs now...so not sure how's everyone's doing nowadays...so sorry!!! :S

Just came back from Adelaide and Shanghai...Adelaide was cold and dark when I was there...winter mah, then Shanghai was hot and humid, but fun! :D





Taken in Adelaide from my room...Hilton Hotel...I stayed on the 3rd level and 2nd level has a swimming pool! But too bad it's winter so no point being so happy...LOL





The Shanghai Millenium Hotel...This is part of the room...notice the toilet, got glass window that you can look into from the room...hiaks... *don't think too much, I stayed alone..* :P

This makes the room even bigger! The room is seriously huge..bigger than the living room in my house now...

The 2 friends I went Shanghai with... :) We were on a cruising tour around Shanghai's "City Hall" area, I supposed...





















Are these part of 外滩？ I'm not sure...but I know that area got 外滩，or what we people like to say “上海滩”...LOL




















Soon I'll be going to some other places like Dubai, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Paris, Perth, Chennai (India) etc...till early Sep...some are just for a day...if you get what i mean...so won't really get to shop...Paris will be fun I hope..hee..so far that will be the furthest place I will go... :)

When I'm not so lazy again I will put the dates of when I'm free here...pardon for my lousy and weird English..many things are kinda inconvenient to mention...so please do me a favour, don't mention anything on the chat box also..thank you very much! :D
